Shaun Francis Barratt, a paradigm of dedication

Shaun Francis Barratt is the founder of ‘Salt’ a human resources and consulting company that focuses on placing the right people at the right place. Shaun Barrat possesses great talent and management skills. He was a school drop out after his mother passed away. He took to the job of Chef to support himself and later enrolled for accounting course while still working as chef.

After his course he was one of those fortunate few who got his first assignment to work as accountant in one of the company’s subsidiary Pacific Foods and later to Parex Industries a manufacturer of infrastructure piping.

Barratt’s experience working in all sectors of industry gave an edge over others. He served as head of trading division of the company in Germany and was later promoted as the Director of Commercial and Finance Functions.

Shaun Barratt wants to bring up ‘Salt’ his company as one of the premier HR Company that provides quality service to its clients. His other business interest is a fashion store- Maggie Potter in Auckland Wellington and Melbourne in Australia. Shaun Barratt wants to acquire a Doctorate, but for the time being his priority is take Salt to the level of such companies that promotes quality service.

Shaun Barratt – Multi-faceted CEO of SALT

Shaun Barratt was born in Australia and for most of his childhood he was alone. His mother passed away when he was still a young boy, and this left him with no guidance how to shape his life. He took up the job of Chef, and supported himself and further enrolled for the study of accounting.

Shaun Barratt took up a full-time course with Massey University. Post the Massey University course, Shaun joined the food giant in Australia and New Zealand ‘Goodman Fielder Wattie’.

Shaun Barratt soon went on higher positions with his managing skills and was promoted as accountant in one of the company’s subsidiary Pacific Foods and later to Parex Industries as Financial Controller.

After a successful stint with different position and business Shaun Barratt later went on to launch his own recruitment company ‘Salt’ in Australia in association with his younger sister. His hard work and mission to provide quality service to his clients, Salt today has made tremendous growth over the years and the company is looking to open 5-6 Branches across the world. The company also wants to get those few, but the best of clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Shaun Barratt also focuses his attention on his other business like his fashion store ‘Maggie Potter’ in Auckland, Wellington and in Australia. For the time being he wants to bring more quality clients into the fold of ‘Salt’
