Shaun Barratt – Multi-faceted CEO of SALT

Shaun Barratt was born in Australia and for most of his childhood he was alone. His mother passed away when he was still a young boy, and this left him with no guidance how to shape his life. He took up the job of Chef, and supported himself and further enrolled for the study of accounting.

Shaun Barratt took up a full-time course with Massey University. Post the Massey University course, Shaun joined the food giant in Australia and New Zealand ‘Goodman Fielder Wattie’.

Shaun Barratt soon went on higher positions with his managing skills and was promoted as accountant in one of the company’s subsidiary Pacific Foods and later to Parex Industries as Financial Controller.

After a successful stint with different position and business Shaun Barratt later went on to launch his own recruitment company ‘Salt’ in Australia in association with his younger sister. His hard work and mission to provide quality service to his clients, Salt today has made tremendous growth over the years and the company is looking to open 5-6 Branches across the world. The company also wants to get those few, but the best of clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Shaun Barratt also focuses his attention on his other business like his fashion store ‘Maggie Potter’ in Auckland, Wellington and in Australia. For the time being he wants to bring more quality clients into the fold of ‘Salt’
