Shaun Francis Barratt, in pursuit of success

Shaun Francis Barratt’s story can be quite inspiring; in short to term it as ‘In pursuit of successes’. His story is a real tale of how someone who was down and out, but still had the will to make it big in life. A school dropped out after the sudden demise of his mother, Shaun Barratt was left penniless and had no idea how to take it forward from here. He had the determination, will and vision to turn his life and fight for a bright future.

Shaun Barratt took up work as chef at a local restaurant and then enrolled himself for a full-time course with Massey University to study accounting. Shaun Barratt after his study then joined to serve the ‘Goodman Fielder Wattie’ the food giant in Australia and New Zealand.

Even while working for ‘Goodman’ Shaun Barratt had the firmness to fight for success. Having worked for Goodman he then was at Robert Bosch as their Trading Divisions Controller. A year later he started his own HR consultancy company called ‘SALT’, and there after he never looked back.

Salt today is going places and there are plans to open 5-6 Branches across the world. Shaun also has other business interests like a fashion store- Maggie Potter in Auckland Wellington and Melbourne in Australia. For the time being he is more focused on how to make Salt a brand name even if that means few, but top-notch clients.

Shaun Barratt, turning his dream into reality

Shaun Barratt was born in Australia, and wanted to become an entrepreneur. He went through troubled times financially and dropped out of school following his mother demise. Shaun took up to work as chef. He then enrolled himself to study accounting.

Shaun Barratt as he finished his accounting started his professional career and took charge as the accountant of the food giant Goodman Fielder Wattie’ in Australia. Shaun was a determined person and always wanted to explore and never sit back. He believes in taking life head on to create his own path in life. Life has taught him that one who has higher goals in life they can acquire anything without breaching the rights of others.

Today Shaun Barratt runs his business successfully including his fashion store ‘Maggie Potter’. His primary interest remains ‘Salt’ one of the most reputed HR consulting company, which he wants to take to new places and provide quality service. Shaun Barratt also wants to add to his credit a doctorate.

Shaun Francis Barratt, motivated entrepreneur

Recruitment company Salt and Shaun Barratt are going great Australia and New Zealand and it all began quite unassumingly for him. After having to drop out of school Barratt ended up working as Chef to support himself. Shaun Barratt then enrolled at Massey University to learn Accounting on full-time basis. Then as he accomplished his accounting course, he recalls, in one of those unexpected moments, his life took a complete turn. Shaun Barratt got this opportunity to work for Goodman Fielder Wattiee, the food giant in Australia. He was later invited to take care of their New Zealand operations as well.

During his professional stint, Shaun Barratt went places taking up key positions with the company. His last venture was when he went to Germany to look after their trading division of Robert Bosch as the company’s Director of Commercial and Finance Functions. Having made a mark for himself, Shaun Barratt then resigned from Robert Bosch and started his own venture called ‘Salt’. This was a purely human resource company. His intention was to run a company that would help organisation get quality resources. Today ‘Salt’ is doing tremendously well and Shaun is planning to open more offices globally. Shaun, a visionary at heart, would like to turn his company into one that would motivate millions in generations to come.
