Recruitment company Salt and Shaun Barratt are going great Australia and New Zealand and it all began quite unassumingly for him. After having to drop out of school Barratt ended up working as Chef to support himself. Shaun Barratt then enrolled at Massey University to learn Accounting on full-time basis. Then as he accomplished his accounting course, he recalls, in one of those unexpected moments, his life took a complete turn. During his professional stint, Shaun Barratt went places taking up key positions with the company. His last venture was when he went to Germany to look after their trading division of Robert Bosch as the company’s Director of Commercial and Finance Functions. Having made a mark for himself, Shaun Barratt then resigned from Robert Bosch and started his own venture called ‘Salt’. This was a purely human resource company. His intention was to run a company that would help organisation get quality resources. Today ‘Salt’ is doing tremendously well and Shaun is planning to open more offices globally. Shaun, a visionary at heart, would like to turn his company into one that would motivate millions in generations to come.
