“You can do it!” is what Shaun Francis Barratt message is. A school drop-out after his mother passed away, Shaun struggled hard to make ends meet. He worked as chef to support himself, but also went on to enroll himself to learn Accounting on full-time basis from Massey University.
It’s this spirit he acquired as he struggled to keep abreast with the challenges to be successful with remote resources that has held in good stead. Facing new and daunting tasks, Shaun after having accomplished his accounting studies joined the food giant Goodman Fielder Wattie’ in Australia. He was also asked to take care of their New Zealand operations as well.
After a successful professional stint, Shaun Barratt moved on and started his own venture ‘Salt’ a human resource company. His planning was farsighted - to run a company that would help companies to get quality resources. Today ‘Salt’ is doing exceptionally well and they are planning to open many more office globally. Shaun a visionary at heart would like to turn his company into one that would motivate millions in generations to come.
